The Albums Behind Our Designs
We've made five studio albums since we started in 1998. Each one is a chapter of the CKY story, and together they're the world our designs come from.
What was our first album?
Volume 1 (1999). It came out first under our original name, Camp Kill Yourself. That's where the three letters come from.
Which albums came next?
Infiltrate•Destroy•Rebuild (2002): our second record, heavy riffs and all.
An Answer Can Be Found (2005): the third album, three years later.
Carver City (2009): our fourth studio album.
What's our latest album?
The Phoenix (2017). Our fifth studio album, and the first with Chad I Ginsburg on lead vocals, a role he took over in 2015.
What's the sound across all five?
Alternative metal, stoner rock and alternative rock, with post-grunge and hard rock in there too. Thick, heavy guitars that still stick in your head.
How do the albums connect to our merch?
One name runs through all of them. From Volume 1 to The Phoenix, the CKY name has stayed the same, and our designs put that logo front and centre in its different looks.
